January 2018 : Keeping up with the vision to conserve and continuing to contribute to a greener environment, Bestway Cement Farooqia initiated the first Plantation Drive of the year 2018 on January 18 which was inaugurated by Dr. Amjad, Director EPA – North, at the factory site. A large number of participants including esteemed guests Syed Rizwan Kazim (Divisional Forest Officer, Haripur), Haji Manzoor Elahi (Chairman HCCI, Haripur), Mr. Faiz Ullah (Deputy Director Labour, Haripur), Malik Ashiq Awan (Chairman HIA), Ch. Zaheer (Member District Council, Haripur), Ch. Akhtar Nawaz (Member District Council, Haripur), Malik Asim (Nazim Union Coucil, Hattar), Malik Sajid (Naib Nazim, Village Shadi), lend a hand in planting hundreds of indigenous species of trees.
