Training & Apprenticeship Programme

Bestway Cement Limited hires fresh Graduate Engineers, Diploma Holders and Matriculates in order to train them in their respective fields as Trainee Engineers / DAE Apprentices / Matriculate Apprentices. The newly inducted Trainee Engineers / Apprentices are imparted theoretical knowledge as well as practical training about their relevant trade skills. On successful completion of the training, the Trainees / Apprentices are inducted in the respective department against the vacant posts as regular employees on merit. Training/Apprenticeship programme comprises of 75 % practical training on the job and 25% theoretical instructions. Diploma holders/Apprentices are also required to attend training workshops at Govt. Technical Institutes.

Note: Books, uniforms, stationery items are provided by the company.

Skill Development of Trainees

In cognizance of the dire need of skilled engineers and acute shortage of training opportunities for fresh engineers and technicians in the country, Bestway imparts training on a regular basis to a significant number of engineers and technicians, who, after completion of their training move on to successfully pursue careers either with us or with other organizations within and outside Pakistan.

Bestway views this as an essential component of its social responsibility, making good business sense while improving the lives of its workforce and society at large.

Quarterly & Annual Examination

  • Performance of Trainees /Apprentices is evaluated on quarterly basis. Tests are conducted after completion of each training session.
  • Trainees / Apprentices are also subject to Final Test / Interviews on completion of required training / apprenticeship period.

Offer of Employment

  • Trainees / Apprentices after successful completion of their training / apprenticeship period and based on their final test / interview, are offered employment against vacant positions (if any) in their respective field on merit.
  • If there is no vacancy available, the Trainees / Apprentices are relieved along with a completion certificate for successfully completing training / apprenticeship programme in their respective fields.

Applying as a Trainee / Apprentice

  • Candidates are selected on merit by a committee based on written tests followed by an interview.
  • Selected candidates may also be inducted against vacant posts (if any) of Trainees and Apprentices in respective departments.
  • Candidates possessing the relevant educational qualifications and meeting the age criterion are encouraged.

Internship Programme

Bestway ‘Internship Programme’ is an on-going process which offers the chance to develop valuable skills that will help further your career. It will help you to get hands-on experience for future commitments. Furthermore, you will be able to apply theory to practical work situations.

A range of internships are offered in various departments based on needs. Candidates are engaged as per the vacant positions in the relevant department for a maximum period of four months. During this period, interns experience routine work carried out by the department and have an opportunity to learn from their seniors and mentors. At the end of the internship, the interns are asked to submit a report of their internship experience and assignments/achievements.
